Saint Valentine's Day, also known as Valentine's Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, is a holiday observed on February 14 each year. It is celebrated in many countries around the world, although it is not a holiday in most of them.

                                   All about Raj Kapoor




  1. Raj Kapoor is known as Ranbir Raj Kapoor and also as "The Show Man". 

  2. He was born on 14th December in 1924 in Peshawar. Raj Kapoor was the son of well-known Indian actor Prithviraj Kapoor,who acted both in film and on stage.


  1. His performance in Awaara was ranked as one of the top ten greatest performances of all time by Time magazine. His films attracted worldwide audiences, particularly in Asia and Europe. The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Bhushan in 1971 and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1987 for his contributions towards Indian cinema. He was called Clark Gable of the Indian film industry.

    He started his film career from the movie Inquilab as child artist in 1935. In 1943, his two movies  were released. They were Hamari Baat and Gauri. Then he acted in various films like Valmiki, Jail  Yatra ,Dil Ki Rani, Chittor Vijay, Neel Kamal, Gopinath and Amar Prem from 1946 to 1948.

     In 1948, he produce the movie Aag. He was also the director of that film.Then he did various  movies which were very popular at that time.

  1.  He was the winner of two National Film Awards and nine Filmfare Awards in India, and a two-time  nominee for the Palme d'Or grand prize at the Cannes Film Festival for his  films Awaara (1951) and Boot Polish (1954). 

     He was died on 2nd June 1988 due to kidney failure, heart failure and asthma in New Delhi.
